New milestones:
- Smiling back at you.....It just melts my heart :)
- Following you with her eyes.....very observant
- Beginning stages of 'cooing', mainly vowel sounds.....ahhh, eeee, aaaa
- Starting to lift head off the ground during 'tummy time'
Growth:
- Weight- 10 lbs 4 oz No Longer in Newborn clothes, so sad :(
- Length- 23 inches
In addition to the developmental changes that have occurred Kensley had her second round of shots yesterday. As she lay on the cold table, dressed in only a diaper, she looked all around the room; at the nurse, at Matt, and at me, with a smile on her face not knowing what was about to happen next. A few seconds later the nurse had a needle in hand then "prick" on Kensley's left leg! Her lips quivered and she screamed mercy. Then another needle "prick" on her right leg! The cries escalated as I stood there helpless trying to console her. She looked at me, tears rolling down her cheeks, as if she was thinking "How could you let them hurt me like this?" The experience was heartbreaking but luckily short lived. Soon after she was back to her happy self as if it never happened...thankfully!
yep she is growing up faster than youd think so exiting kensley dont you grow up to fast sooner than you know it shell have a backpack giving you a kiss everyday before school and shell be waving to you before her first dance telling you shell be fine no matter what shell make it through makeups and breakups and shell be in a white dress looking at her dad with eyes as precious as a sunset. love you all

wow. Abby you just made me cry that was good. and I need to come back a see my niece and bring her some surprises!! Love you guys and can't wait to watch my baby girl grow!
