Kensley was baptized August 5, 2012
Close family gathered together in Matt's Grandparent's church in celebration of this special occasion. Kensley, Lucas and Madelyn (two of her cousins who are around the same age) were baptized together. The three of them will always have that bond and memory to share with each other. Matt and I will always have the image in our minds of our sweet, innocent baby girl being blessed with holy water and oil by the Father. Peace and joy filled our hearts during the momentous ceremony. Kensley's Godmother is Matt's sister Allison and we are certain that she will be a positive influence and set forth Godly examples in life.
Afterwards we gathered together for some family pictures and Kensley's favorite pals Dora the Explorer and Boots decided to join in on the fun. We managed to somehow get rid of the two sidekicks for a brief moment so that the three of us could take a nice family shot. But as you can see it was only brief because there they are along with Ne'Ne', Papa D, Grandma and Papa.
Following the ceremony we all joined together at Matt's aunt and uncle's house. It was splendid to see all of the little cousins playing and getting along together. Thanks to Avo and Vava for helping us schedule the baptism at your church. Thanks to Bob and Terri for opening up your home for all of us. Thanks to Andy, Lauren, Nathan and Lee for planning and setting everything up. And thanks to the rest of our family for gathering with us in celebration of this special day.
