"Happiest Place on Earth"

We took Kensley to Disneyland for the first time and I have never seen her more excited in her life!  When we arrived the first day we spotted Minnie Mouse near the entrance so we stood in line and waited to meet her.  I saw that many of the other kids in line had autograph signing books so I asked Matt to search the nearest little shop, luckily they had one.  Having all of the princesses and characters sign her book was probably one of Kensley's favorite things.  Each time we waited in line for a princess or character she opened her book to the next empty page and made a little check mark at the top and said, "this is where she will sign".  It was so cute to see her excitement.  She liked seeing Minnie Mouse but the moment we walked into the Princess Fair Castle and saw Cinderella her eyes lit up and sparkled like stars.  She smiled from ear to ear as Cinderella welcomed her with open arms and gave her a sweet hug.  I will never forget the look on Kensley's face.  We went on quite a few rides, along with Grandma & Papa, and some of her favorites include the Teacups, Dumbo, the Carousel, and the Alice & Wonderland.  Dada and Papa took her on The Pirates of the Caribbean and after a few seconds on the ride her head was tucked into Matt's arm and remained that way for the majority of the time.  The other ride she did not like at all was Mr. Toad's Adventure.  The second day on our trip we split our time between California Adventure and Disneyland.  Kensley got to have lunch with the princesses at Ariel's Grotto.  She was beaming with anticipation for each princess to come to our table and talk for a bit.  Her favorite princess is Snow White so when she came to our table Kensley gave her her crown, it was so cute!  We didn't go on the famous Cars ride, however, I do think she would've like it especially since she really enjoyed the roller coaster at Toon Town.  Next time we'll take her to experience the Cars ride for sure.  We ended the second day with a fun Mickey Mouse's Musical Parade which Kensley loved and the firework show, which Kensley did not care for one bit due to the loud noises.

Overall, Kensley had a fantastic time at the "Happiest Place on Earth".  She is already talking about going again.  Thanks to Grandma & Papa for everything and joining us for her first Disneyland experience!
